Credit Restoration is legal and the law is on your side. Studies have shown that many Americans have errors on their credit reports and we're experts in getting them resolved!
1.) Is Credit Restoration legal?
Yes, it is legal and our services will help you to use the law in your favor. That law is called "The Fair Credit Reporting Act." The FCRA gives you the right to dispute any item on your credit report. If that item cannot be verified within a reasonable time (usually 30 days) it must be removed. Studies have shown that 79% of all credit reports contain errors. This is nearly 8 out of 10 reports. Therefore most credit reports improve immediately. For items that disputed that are not errors, a creditor or furnisher is often unable to find the records or signed documents within the allotted time and the item gets removed. Sometimes the furnisher will say it has been verified by not offer proof. It is our job to prepare documents that challenge this and we are very skilled at that.
2.) What is the difference between you and Lexington Law?
Lexington law is getting sued by the federal government and they only send a few letters at a time and only for one or two bureaus at a time. We dispute all negative items with the credit bureaus and furnishers so we hit them from both angles as much as we possibly can.
3.) Is Credit Restoration worth my time and money?
Contrary to what credit bureaus want you to believe, credit restoration does work in most circumstances. But it only works if you are getting the best advice from an experienced professional. Anyone with a credit score below 720 can benefit long-term from the advice and information provided through credit education. However, there are limiting factors that will prevent us from helping you. Two main factors are: (1) your financial situation and/or (2) the time frame in which you need to reach your results. It is possible to remove anything from a credit report, even accurate items. For instance, if the creditor makes mistakes or does not adhere to the specific time frame, the negative item may be removed. Also, there are specific requirements the Credit Bureau, Collection agencies, and Creditor must adhere to, when placing items on consumer credit reports, if these requirements are not met, the negative items can be removed.
4.) How Long Does Your Program Take?
Because every credit report is different, there is no way to know how long it will take to repair your credit ahead of time. Our clients usually see results within the first 45 days of joining our program, and stay with us for about six to eight months. Clients who keep an active credit monitoring subscription, submit their responses in a timely manner, and apply for our recommended credit-building products typically see faster progress.
5.) I had a bad experience with another credit repair company.
I totally understand, unfortunately, a lot of people have and that is what makes them hesitant about wanting to continue to repair their credit. We have an ethical approach, many people do not realize, but the credit industry is highly regulated. We truly believe the law is on your side when it comes to credit and we do what we can to use these laws to get the best results possible! If we cannot help you, we will let you know upfront!
6.) What makes you different?
We will challenge all the negative items that you have including inquiries, collections, closed accounts, charge-offs, missed or late payments, and old debt. After you sign up we start working on your files within about 24 hours! We look at each client report searching for the items that are negatively impacting your scores then we get to work disputing ALL of them Directly with the credit bureaus! Typically we hear back from the credit bureaus with the results of our 1st round in about 30 days. Plus you have will have a monthly call with our team about the updates on your credit!
7.) Will the removed items come back?
98% of items do not come back. By law, Collection agencies and credit bureaus must notify you before putting items on your report. Moreover, collection agencies can transfer debts, in which case, you have 30 days to respond to the debt. If an item does come back, we can target to delete.
8.) What items can you help me to remove and improve?
With our assistance, our clients have had great success with bankruptcies, collections, charge-offs, repossessions, medical bills, utilities, credit card debt, inquiries, old addresses, judgments, tax liens and student loans.
9.) {FOR REPO} My car is on the repo list, but not has been taken yet. I am behind on payments, what can I do?
You have 2 options:
Voluntarily turn your car in before it gets taken. This option gives you more control of the repo- you can remove your possessions out of the car and take pictures.
Involuntarily Repo: gives us more leverage against the creditor.
Ultimately the decision is up to you and we can still help you either way
10.) {FOR EVICTIONS} Once we know who is reporting my eviction, how do you stop them and how long will it take?
We stop them by silencing the secondary reporting site from sharing your information without your consent. We look for consumer laws they have violated. The average time frame is 120 days but it could take longer.
11.) What if I already have credit monitoring?
Which one are you currently using? Our preferred credit monitoring site is but I can check to see if we can accept your existing one. If we do, are you willing to provide your logins so that the advisor can access your reports?
12.) What is credit monitoring?
A credit monitoring service gives you frequent access to your credit history, so you can check your credit report as often as you like. It does not hurt your credit score as they do a soft pull or soft inquiry. The credit monitoring company usually charged a monthly fee to keep an eye on your credit.
13.) Why do I need a valid debit or credit card for Credit Monitoring?
The reason why you need a debit or credit card is that the credit monitoring system charges you one dollar for security reasons to ensure that the person retrieving the credit report is the one that it belongs to and it does that by matching the name on the debit or credit card you will be using.
14.) What if I have Credit Karma?
Credit Karma offers two main services. Not only can it help to monitor the credit score, but it also provides a high yield savings account. It is a free service but it has some disadvantages which is why it is not recommended to rely on.
Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian are the three major credit unions. Each of these credit bureaus has your credit report on file to track your credit history. However, Credit Karma only factors two of these credit reports into your credit score.
Credit Karma relies on your credit reports from Equifax and TransUnion to determine your credit score. Since they leave out one source of information, it is possible that their scores are less accurate than if they used all three credit reports.
Credit Karma does not update your credit score instantaneously. First, your actions need to be reported to a credit bureau. Then, Credit Karma will use that updated credit report to adjust your score. Based on that process, your credit score might not be updated immediately.
This is why we have a preferred credit monitoring site that allows us to access all 3 reports. Are you willing to enroll in credit monitoring so that we can run a full analysis?
15.) How Much Do Your Services Cost?
Our prices can start at and go up from there depending on how many items we have to dispute. To get an accurate price, your advisor will need to review your credit file. My job is to prepare you for your call with them. Can I ask you a few quick questions?
16.) I can't invest now
No problem, I totally understand. The good news is that we offer payment plans as well. The credit advisor can go over that with you. Will that help you out?
17.) Do you have a money back guarantee?
Before you even pay anything to us, we will do a credit analysis so that you know what will be done. We are transparent with you upfront so you know what our company can do for you or not. After your credit analysis, you will be able to make a more educated decision about whether you decide to enroll with our company or not.
